New mac, mountain lion, and ruby.h not found

Mountain Lion, installed command line tools. Have latest MacVim. Ruby is 1.8.7 and gcc is 4.2.1.

When I get to the ruby extconf.rb step, I get:

    [bob:~LP_OLD_PWD/command-t] master(+912/-1) ± ruby extconf.rb (master)
    checking for ruby.h... no
    couldn't find ruby.h (required)
    [bob:~LP_OLD_PWD/command-t] master(+912/-1) 1 ±

Where would I have gotten ruby.h and where would it be located? Spotlight doesn't show the file.

I think you'll need to install the Xcode tools for that; they are available on the Mac App store (for free).
