Is there a limit to the number of files Command-T will attempt to find under the current directory?

I noticed that if I'm in a directory with many files (~50,000), Command-T will not be able to get at *some* of the files. Is there a limit to the number of files that Command-T will attempt to find under the current directory? Can it be changed?

Yes, see the docs (:help command-t-options in Vim), specifically the g:CommandTMaxFiles setting.

Is it possible to get the number of found matches?

I would like to see a info like "X files matched" in the status bar or prompt, after the initial scan and then while typing.
