No Information in floater [solved]

I just updated to Synergy 1.5b and iTunes 4.7. Now, when I launch iTunes, Synergy does not automatically begin, nor does it show any song information other than the album cover. I checked my preferences and everything is the same as the previous version. I am currently running 10.3.4.

Can you post a screenshot of what the Floater looks like (the default key combo for capturing the screen is Command-Shift-3)?

First thing I would do, though, is run the installer and click "Uninstall"; that will bring up a list of files and you'll be able to see if you've got two copies of Synergy installed (a common cause of login-glitches).

If you have two installed, remove both, and install again.

To get the login thing working again, uncheck the "Launch at login" setting in the prefs, click "Apply", then recheck it and click "Apply".

Thanks for the quick response. I went into the preferences, did the uncheck and re-check, changed the size of the floater and restarted. Everything is now working properly. Please feel free to delete post if desired. BTW, this is a great application.

Rather than delete it, probably best to leave it so that if someone else runs into the same issue they can find a likely solution.

Glad to hear everything is working well.

i've got the same problem. I did the change floater size/position and restart. checked and unchecked the "start at login" button. Uninstalled and reinstalled.

no dice... still got he problem. Any suggestions?

Probably best to collect some information and file a bug report so that we can get to the bottom of this.

Unfortunately this information doesn't help me to troubleshoot the bug, because I can't reproduce it here. Check out this article on how to file a good bug report and use the bug database so that we can get to the bottom of this.

When you look at the article you'll see a list of info that's useful in finding out why these problems occur. Things like crash logs, console output, samples, and configuration information etc. Without that it's impossible to troubleshoot.

    Thanks for your help.
