Global Hot Key Bug in 3.5a2?

I can't seem to set cmd-opt-ctl-left-arrow as a hot key combo. Any idea why?

Every other combo I try seems to work.

It might be in use already by another application. You could try looking at the settings of other applications that you might have installed which use global (system-wide) hot keys.

You can also look in System Preferences -> Hot Keys and see if there's a conflict there.

Are you using a standard Apple keyboard? US English?

Update: I was able to enter the desired shortcut this morning, but I'm not sure why.

Yesterday, Synergy wouldn't even accept cmd-opt-ctl-left-arrow as a valid entry in the "Set Hot Key" sheet (it was as if I hadn't pressed anything at all). Today it works.

    Huh.

The only thing I can think to explain it is that, prior to installing Syngery, I had been using the same set of hot keys as Quicksilver triggers. I had disabled the QS triggers prior to configuring Synergy, and most of them worked just fine. Perhaps that last one just needed a system reboot for some reason?
