problems with launch at login

I've got the "Launch Synergy at login" option ticked in the the Synergy pref pane, but it won't start when I log in.

I've looked in both my loginwindow.plist files, and there is only one copy of Synergy referenced, and I have only one copy of Synergy installed.

I've also tried un-checking the "Launch Synergy at login" option, clicking apply, and then re-checking the option, followed by apply. While this does remove and add the Synergy entry to my loginwindow.plist as it should, it doesn't actuallt fix the problem. Synergy just will not start.

I'm running Synergy 2.1 on OS X 10.3.9. Any ideas?

    Thanks, - c -

So, does the entry in your loginwindow.plist file have the correct path to Synergy.app in it?

If the correct path is in there and the system is still not launching it then I suspect a permissions problem. Have you tried replicating the problem from another user account? Does Synergy launch correctly when you do a manual launch (by clicking the "Start" button in the preference pane)?
