New Google Groups out of beta
The updated Google Groups interface is now out of beta. For me, Google has singlehandedly rescued NNTP from insignificance and extinction with its combination of a slick web-based interface, powerful search, and excellent spam protection (via Gmail).

Is out. No time to work on the Rails rewrite of this site right now (and probably not for a long time), but still very happy to see the framework evolving.

Another day, another MOAB DMG vulnerability. Starting to get sick of them.
I also notice their site is now covered with ads and even a donations link. With all the ill will they've generated I can't imagine they'd get many donations, although they might make a small amount off the ads.

Checking again today I saw that the WordPress folks finally got around to tagging their 2.0.6 release, so I did the upgrade.
